Corydoras Sterbai
Corydoras sterbai

🌍 Origin
Rio Guaporé, Western Amazonia.
Appearance
Brown body with distinct white spots on the head and gill covers. 6–7 cm as an adult.
Recommended water parameters
Compatibility with discus
Cory paleatus, aeneus and julii are NOT suitable (they prefer 22–26°C). Only Sterbai is OK with discus.

Soft substrate (fine sand) — sharp gravel injures their barbels. Keep in a group of at least 6.
Feeding
Sinking pellets — they don't just eat leftovers! Wafers, daphnia, bloodworms.
Behavior
Peaceful, active during the day, explores the bottom as a group. Intestinal breathing — occasionally darts to the surface.
💡 Practical tips

- →Group of at least 6 — alone they get stressed
- →Feed them deliberately with tablets — they are not cleaners
