Spotted Green originates from the wild Green Discus (Symphysodon aequifasciatus aequifasciatus) with red spots, domesticated and selected for enhanced spots and green coloration.
Appearance
Green-yellow to olive-green body with red spots distributed across the surface. Fine horizontal green stripes on the fins. Red eyes. A more 'natural' appearance compared to modern hybrids.
