Description
The Ammonia Alert from Seachem is an innovative device for continuous monitoring of free ammonia in both freshwater and marine environments. Its sensor changes color from yellow to green and then to blue, depending on the concentration of ammonia, detecting levels as low as 0.05 mg/L (ppm). No testing, chemicals, or complex procedures are required.
With a lifespan of over one year, the Ammonia Alert provides constant ammonia detection and has a response time of approximately 15 minutes. It is normal for the dry sensor to have a greenish hue, which stabilizes after a few days of exposure to water. It is not recommended for water with acidic pH.
