The White Angel is a rare and delicate variety, featuring an almost pure white body with the characteristic traits of the Pigeon Blood gene.
🌍 Origin & History
The White Angel is a high depigmentation variety of Pigeon Blood, with its background becoming nearly pure white. It was created in Asian breeding farms through PB × Snow White crosses.
Appearance
Nearly pure white body, whiter than the White Butterfly. Black pepper on the snout and fins. The red eyes create a dramatic contrast. The transparent fins have white edges. The body is round and elegant.
🧬 Genetic background
Pigeon Blood × Snow White. Similar to White Butterfly but with more pronounced depigmentation. Inherits the dominant PB gene with maximum suppression of base pigment.
Recommended water parameters
Care
Very sensitive. Requires the highest quality water and very regular water changes.
Breeding
Difficult. Lower fry survival rates.
